About Us
How we got started
A couple of the Uintah Basin area Veterans, Wes Porter & Crissy Knibbe along with Joel Brown, the executive director of the Chamber of Commerce in Vernal, UT wanted to highlight our area Veterans. The main goal of this team is to recognize the bravery of our soldiers, honor the ones lost, listen to their stories and to offer avenues of help, if needed. The UBAV team would like to honor our soldiers more than just a few times a year! Our soldiers are an integral piece of our great country and in our little corner of Utah.
